At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Tusk was welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials, AzVision.az reports.
The European Council President will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and visit the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
He is also scheduled to visit Armenia and Georgia on July 10-11.
On July 11, Tusk will take part in the opening of the 16th International Batumi Conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.
