Ilham Aliyev, his spouse attend opening of new highway in Baku

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of a new highway, which lays parallel to the seaside road in the Nobel Brothers Avenue in Baku.

Chairman of Azvirt LLC Kamil Aliyev informed the head of state about the new highway, road junctions, engineer installations and underground pedestrian passages. It was noted that the 8-lane road was built to modern standards. The width of the lanes is 3.75 meters.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the highway.
