The number of tourists coming from China to Azerbaijan is growing thanks to the relevant memorandum signed between the two countries, Rufat Baghirov, director of the Baku Information Center said Friday, AzVision.az reported.
“Azerbaijan has recorded a great flow of tourists over the past 2-3 years. Tourists visited Azerbaijan for its historical sites, gastronomy, entertainment and sporting events,” Baghirov said.
He pointed out that about 85,000 guests from 74 countries arrived in Baku during the 2019 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, held in late April.
