Neo-fascist movements emerging around world - President Aliyev
We are very happy that our youth are patriotic, a quality that strengthens ties between countries. One’s respect for their country and religion means respect for other countries and religions, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Monday at the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku.

The head of state said neo-fascist movements are emerging around the world.

“The international community needs to think over this matter seriously. We can win this war by joining our efforts. Intercultural dialogue is therefore very important, and Baku is quite an appropriate place to discuss these issues,” added President Aliyev.

The president noted that a developed, mighty state has been built in Azerbaijan over the course of the last 23 years.

“Baku is rife with historical, architectural monuments. You can visit them. However, our country is young in terms of independence. Works carried out within a short period of time defined our development. If you win public support, these efforts prove successful. Azerbaijan’s initiatives boost regional cooperation,” noted President Aliyev.
