Japanese radio station airs program on culture of Azerbaijan
The Japanese radio Rainbow town 79.2 FM Tokyo has aired a program telling about the culture of Azerbaijan and related footages has been posted on website of the radio.

Gulnara Safarova, Azerbaijani pianist, winner of international awards who currently lives in Tokyo, answered the question of the program hosts and listeners about old and rich culture of Azerbaijani people.

At the beginning of the program which lasted an hour hosts Soishi Ichi, Saki Noda and Karena told about Azerbaijan, which restored its independence 21 years ago, its geographical location, strong economic potential and rich material and spiritual heritage.

It was noted that national leader Heydar Aliyev who returned to power in 1993 had great services in restoring independence and developing it.

It is thanks to the care of the national leader that culture and other spheres are experiencing development. It was noted that various projects initiated by First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO good-will ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva play a major role in popularizing culture of Azerbaijan around the world.

The program also told about the beauty of the nature of Azerbaijan, old and rich culture of the Azerbaijani people. It was mentioned that the Azerbaijani people is one of the ancient nations in the world who are proud of their history, monuments of material culture, rich literature, arts and music.
