Turkish minister: Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway project under development

Turkish minister: Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway project under development

The Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway project is being developed, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan told AzVision.az.

The minister stated the railways show expansion of transportation relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey much more: “The projects, jointly carried out by Azerbaijan and Turkey have not only economic but also great political meaning. Projects implemented jointly by Turkey and Azerbaijan increase security and stability of the region”.

He also added there very thick economic relations between two countries: “It paves the way for the development of infrastructure in the region, besides strengthening both countries”.
