Eleven out of 16 people killed in fire outbreak in Baku identified

Eleven out of 16 people killed in fire outbreak in Baku identified

Eleven out of 16 people killed as a result of the fire outbreak in a multi-stored building in Baku have been identified, Shakir Musayev, head of the Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Union of Azerbaijani Health Ministry told Trend May 19.

The identified victims of the fire outbreak are: Omer Javadov, Nazile Kerimova, Ayan Kerimova, Aykhan Huseynov, Fereh Meherremov, Sahib Baghirov, Firengiz Baghirov, Zulfiyya Shirinova, Yashar Necefzade, Davud Eyvazov, Ulker Eyvazova.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigation Department on Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General`s Office of Azerbaijan upon the fact of fire outbreak on the Articles 225.2 (violation of fire safety rules), 308.2 (abuse of power) and 314.2 (negligence) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

The fire that occurred in a multi-stored building in the Azadlig Avenue in Baku left 16 people dead and 54 more injured, according to the latest data.
