"Second Russian S-400 battery delivery to begin Tuesday" - Turkish Defence Minister

"Second Russian S-400 battery delivery to begin Tuesday" - Turkish Defence Minister

The delivery of the second battery of the Russian S-400 missile defense system will begin on Tuesday, Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced on Monday, AzVision.az reports citing Yeni Safak.

Turkey began taking delivery of the advanced Russian air defence system in July and is set to continue through April 2020.

The S-400 is known as the most advanced long-range surface-to-air missile defense system. China was the first to procure this missile defense system to shield its cities from an invading missile.
