Bulgaria approves ICT agreement with Azerbaijan

The Bulgarian government has approved an agreement on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of electronic communication, IT and e-government, the Bulgarian media reported May 19.

The document was signed during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Bulgaria on March 4, 2015.

"The agreement creates opportunities for the development of bilateral relations in the field of e-governance, information security, unification of policy standards in the field of information society,” the statement said. “It promotes the development of business relations in this area."
