Azerbaijan has not applied to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) for any status and no discussions are held on this topic, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev said, AzVision.az reports.
“Currently there is no such issue. Azerbaijan hasn’t applied for any status. We don’t hold such discussion at the moment”, Hikmat Hajiyev noted.
Head of the department who comments on statements of Yerevan regarding Armenian’s being against to it stated that it seems Armenian side have a phobia in different levels: “Even if Azerbaijan doesn’t apply, Armenia tries to discuss every issue beyond the diplomatic framework due to its phobia and complexes”.
