Putin rejects Armenia PM request for bilateral talk

It seems Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Armenia, after all, but only for a few hours, 168 Zham newspaper reports.

“He will not stay in Yerevan. He will only attend the EAEU[Eurasian Economic Union]-format events and will depart.

“It is not ruled out that he will not even attend the official dinner.

“The Armenian side has asked for a bilateral meeting with Putin, but as of now, the Russian side has rejected that wish of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,” 168 Zham wrote.

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
