Co-op of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia contributes to strengthening stability in region
The cooperation in the format of trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers serves the common goals of strengthening stability in the region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said in an interview with The Business Year magazine.
This cooperation is important for creating a more favorable environment for regional projects and investments, he said.

This cooperation is based on the strategic partnership, good neighborliness, mutual trust, as well as respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the internationally recognized border, according to Mammadyarov.

He added that such a format is important for holding consultations on issues that are of common interest and is also necessary for advancing cooperation.

The first trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers was held in Trabzon on June 8, 2012. The second such meeting was held March 28, 2013 in Batumi (Georgia), the third – Feb.19, 2014 in Ganja (Azerbaijan) and the fourth – December 2014 in Kars.
