Men infected with hepatitis B are called up for military service in Armenia
Men infected with hepatitis B virus are called up for military service in Armenia, said in an article published by Graparak newspaper.
Professor of the Armenian Institute of Medicine Ludovig Nanidjanyan underlined the importance of making amendments to the law to prevent such cases. He said that such patients’ failure in following the diet can lead to serious consequences and liver cirrhosis.

Note that, men infected with hepatitis B and C are not called up for military service in Azerbaijan. And those infected with hepatitis A are called up only after treatment.
