According to him, exploration-drilling works in Shafag-Asiman block are planned to be started in Decemvber of this year.
Note that drilling of exploration well in the mentioned block will be carried out with Heydar Aliyev drilling rig. Currently the rig is in Absheron field within framework of drilling works of the exploration well and will leave project territory soon.
According to B. Aslanbayli, the drilling rig will be prepared to work in Shafag-Asiman block after receiving by BP.
“We will have works with the rig, which will last for a month, after receiving it (preparation of the rig for drilling works is considered – red.)”, said BP official.
