 Azerbaijani and Russian PMs meeting held in Moscow

A bilateral meeting between Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev has been held in Moscow, AzVision.az reports.

The prospects of the development of economic and humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia have been discussed at the meeting.

Medvedev congratulated Asadov on his appointment as Azerbaijan's Prime Minister and wished him success", AzVision.az reports citing Ria Novosti. You are quite an experienced person, I wish you success in your future endeavours. You can always rely on Russia's support. Russia and Azerbaijan enjoy expanded relations between the countries. The trade turnover between our countries for the first eight months of this year was almost 25%. This is the best indicator compared the volume of mutual trade between Russia and other CIS countries", Medvedev said.

In his turn Ali Asadov thanked Russia Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev: "I hope this will contribute to our bilateral cooperation in economic, cultural and other areas."
