The sides lauded the development of political and economic cooperation between the two countries. Touching upon the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Singapore, they noted the important role of cooperation within international organizations and forums in order to make the existing mutually beneficial cooperation more effective.
Noting the positive development of bilateral economic and trade relations between Singapore and Azerbaijan, the Senior Minister of State praised the close cooperation between Singapore and Azerbaijani companies and stressed the importance of benefiting from the prospects existing between the countries, in particular, sharing experiences in ICT and other fields.
Elmar Mammadyarov noted that Singapore is one of the key partners of Azerbaijan and stressed the significance of further improving the treaty and legal basis in favor of further bilateral cooperation.
The Singapore’s official expressed his confidence for the successful Presidency of Azerbaijan in NAM and further development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
