CIS defence ministers to gather in Baku

CIS defence ministers to gather in Baku

The following meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth Independent Countries will be held in Baku on October 30, Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told AzVision.az.

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Nurlan Yermekbayev, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Abdusalom Azizov, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General Sherali Mirzo and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Major-General Rayimberdi Duishenbiev are expected to attend the event.

Current military cooperation and upcoming issues will be discussed at the meeting.
