"The Russian delegation`s staff shows that the practically a full range of bilateral issues are planned to be discussed during the talks," the Russian president`s assistant Yuri Ushakov told journalists.
According to him, the Russian delegation includes the Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov, Transportation Minister Maxim Sokolov, Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev, as well as the general director of Rosoboronexport Anatoly Isaikin, the head of the Russian delegation to the multilateral talks on the Caspian Sea Igor Bratchikov, head of Rosneft Igor Sechin and head of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov.
Ushakov said that the ships of the Russian Caspian Flotilla, guided by "Dagestan" missile ship and "Volgodonsk" small artillery ship will be in Baku bay with a friendly visit on August 13, during the Russian-Azerbaijani talks.
According to Ushakov, a package of five or six bilateral documents, including the Comprehensive Plan on Cooperation between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of Russia and Azerbaijan, will be signed at the end of the upcoming talks.
In addition, the agreements in the fields of transport and energy may be signed.
It is assumed that Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will discuss the issues of preparation for the III Baku International Humanitarian Forum, which will be hosted from October 31 to November 1.
The presidents are also supposed to address the key issues of international and regional agenda, the legal regime of the Caspian Sea and problems in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan since 1992, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.
According to the results of 2012, Azerbaijan and Russia reached a record level of trade turnover at $3.4 billion. In 2013, the countries will reach another record in trade turnover, and some $4 billion serves as a landmark for this.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia is increasing. The proof for that are the growth rates, which in January-May were 47.2 percent according to the Russia`s statistics and 38.3 percent according to Azerbaijan`s statistics.
Over the past 10 years Azerbaijan invested $563 million in Russian economy. In recent years, some $468 million were invested by the Russian side in Azerbaijan`s economy.
At present 479 companies with Russian share are operating in Azerbaijan.
