'Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are exemplary and have strategic value. Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev has had two meetings with his Russian counterpart this year. Besides, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva's visit to Russia has been fruitful. The existing experience between two countries is of utmost importance. We plan to end the year with the trade turnover in the amount of $ 3 billion,' Azerbaijani FM added.
'Russia is major trade partner of Azerbaijan in South Caucasus.Today we have had an extended discussion on Karabakh conflict, as well as other international issues. We are sure that we have to go further in this issue. Cooperation will lead to welfare. Both Russia and Azerbaijan have this issue on agenda, ' Mammadyarov also stated.
