Russia`s Caspian Flotilla warships enter Baku port
A detachment of Caspian Flotilla warships of the Russian Federation Navy entered Baku port on Monday during a collection campaign under the banner of the flotilla commander Vice-Admiral Sergei Alekminsky.
The rocket ship "Dagestan" and small artillery ship "Volgodonsk" visited Baku port within the framework of development and strengthening of cooperation between the Russian Navy and Azerbaijan`s Naval Forces in the Caspian Sea, the press service of the Southern Military District of Russia said.

A meeting of the representatives of the commands of Russia`s Caspian Flotilla and Azerbaijan`s Naval Forces is planned within the program of ships` entering Baku port.

In addition, the Russian sailors will lay wreaths at the monument to Azerbaijan`s National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor.

The sailors will also become familiar with Azerbaijani capital`s sightseeing places and the country`s history.
