More than 1 bln. tonnes of different cargos have been transported in the margins of Europe-the Caucasus-Asiya Corridor (TRACECA) so far, TRACECA’s Secretary General Mircea Ciopraga said at the international conference dedicated to 20th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Multilateral Agreement on International Transport for the Development of the Europe-the Caucasus-Asia Corridor (TRACECA) and the 14th meeting of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission (IGC), AzVision.az reports.
He noted, 50% of freight transported through the corridor fell on share of hydrocarbon previous period.
Mircea Ciopraga also noted that, 85 projects that total value amounted to 187 mln. euro have been realized with EU in the framework TRACECA.
