The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will lower the interest rate by 25 points from 7.75 per cent to 7.5 per cent.
The upper limit of the interest rate corridor was set at 9,25%(in the symmetric range, ± ±1,75% of the discount rate), the lower limit at 5,75%.
This decision came into force on December 13, 2019. The information on the next decision of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on interest rate parameters corridor will be announced to the public on January 31, 2019.
