 Azerbaijan elected member of international tourism organization

State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been elected member of Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA), Azvision.az reports. 

As an international tourism organisation, PATA aims to contribute to the development of tourism in member countries through exchanging practices and creating cooperation opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region. 

State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau take necessary measures to attract tourists and present Azerbaijan's potential in Asia. 

Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. The Association provides aligned advocacy, insightful research and innovative events to its member organisations, comprising 95 government, state and city tourism bodies, 25 international airlines and airports, 108 hospitality organisations, 72 educational institutions, and hundreds of travel industry companies in Asia Pacific and beyond. - See more at: https://www.pata.org/about-pata/#sthash.elyezFr4.dpuf
