 BP: Direct revenue of Azerbaijani gov’t from ACG exceeds $140B

Direct revenue of the Azerbaijani government from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields exceeds $140 billion, BP Vice President for Communications, External Affairs and Strategy in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli said at the 2nd Republican Forum of Foreign Trade Participants, AzVision.az reports citing Trend.

Aslanbayli noted that 112 billion cubic meters of gas have been extracted so far from the Shah Deniz gas condensate field.

Baku is hosting the 2nd Republican Forum of Foreign Trade Participants on Dec. 20. The forum is attended by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli as well as other officials and about 900 entrepreneurs.
