“During the talks we touched upon pressing international issues including, of course, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Russia is actively contributing to the soonest resolution of the conflict which is possible only by peaceful means,” Putin said at a press conference following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku on Tuesday.
He also emphasized the outstanding problems in the Caspian region related to delimitation, ecology which concern the countries in this region, RIA Novosti reports.
