The foundation in the name of Azerbaijani scientist, public figure and publicist Vidadi Salahov was established in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan's capital to perpetuate his memory, AzVision.az reports.
The "Ata Yurd-Vidadi "foundation was created on Vidadi Salahov's wife Marina Salahova's initiative with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan. The foundation aims to support the scientific and cultural process, as well as relevant institutions in Kazakhstan, to promote humanism, tolerance and intellectual development, to help the spread the ideas of well-known public and state figures and to encourage education and scientific research among young people.
