US Helicopter Shot Near Mexican Border, Makes Emergency Landing in Texas
A US Customs and Border helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas late on Friday after being hit by gunfire near the Mexican border, local media reported.
A total of five shots were fired, two of which were confirmed to have hit the helicopter, the Laredo Morning Times reported citing police.

The helicopter landed safely in Laredo, Texas. No injuries were reported, according to the daily.

It was not immediately clear if the shots were fired from the US or Mexican side of the border.
