Kurtulmus, however, didn’t reveal with which political party can Turkey’s ruling party form a coalition government.

He said Turkey’s Justice and Development Party stands committed to the principles of democracy.

Kurtulmus also said the statement made by Turkey’s opposition parties about their unwillingness to form a coalition government with the Justice and Development Party is spontaneous.

On June 8, Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will be convening a meeting of the cabinet of ministers.

The meeting is expected to discuss the results of the June 7 parliamentary election in Turkey.

On Sunday, June 7, Turkey held parliamentary election, which involved 20 political parties. Some 53,765,231 people cast their votes in the election.

The voting results in Turkey’s June 7 parliamentary election are as follows: the ruling Justice and Development Party garnered 40.9 percent of the vote, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) – 25 percent, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) – 16.3 percent, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) – 13.1 percent.

Other political parties as a whole scored 4.7 percent of the vote.
