Russian, Turkish presidents can mull Turkish Stream project in Baku
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan can discuss major projects, including Turkish Stream in Baku, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

“Yes, we hope that such a meeting will be held,” RIA Novosti quoted Peskov as saying. “They will have an opportunity to talk on the sidelines of the events to be held in Baku and of course, if they have time, they will be able to exchange views on the relevant major projects on the bilateral agenda.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Azerbaijan and attend the opening ceremony of the First European Games to be held June 12 in Baku.

Baku 2015 is the first-ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent that will take place on June 12-28, 2015.

There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
