Head of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov appealed to the people who are still using old USSR Passports or do not have any document to prove their citizenship in a public Facebook post.
Vusal Huseynov noted that one of the goals of the Migration Service is to reduce instances of statelessness: " We kindly ask the people who currently do not have a nationality of any country, use old USSR passports or have no documentation to prove their existence as citizens to appeal the State Migration Service".
