More than 75,000 local observers to monitor parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

As many as 77,790 local observers are registered to monitor the early parliamentary elections to be held on February 9 in Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the country’s Central Election Commission (CEC) said at a press conference on Saturday, AzVision.az reports. 

Moreover, he noted that some 883 international observers from 58 countries will monitor the elections. 

The voting at the parliamentary elections will start at 08:00 and wrap up at 19:00 local time.
