Azerbaijan’s internal affairs bodies ensured the fulfillment of their obligations established by law, and well-protected the public safety, the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs told AzVision.az.
As of 19:00, no facts of gross violation of the public order and illegal police interference in the elections process were recorded, said the ministry.
The police only in cases stipulated by the Electoral Code - upon calling – went to polling stations to restore the order and take measures in accordance with the law.
