 Ilham Aliyev: "There is no historical heritage of Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh"

"Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is recognized by the whole international community"

This was announced by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, during a panel discussion on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the Munich Security Conference.

The head of state stressed that Armenia occupied 20% of Azerbaijan's territory and carried out ethnic cleansing of civilians in the occupied lands, as well as, perpetrated the Khojaly genocide.

In addition, President Ilham Aliyev said that the Azerbaijanis have been subjected to the ethnic cleansing by the Armenians in the occupied lands. They have destroyed our cultural heritage in the occupied lands. There is no historical heritage of Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The panel discussions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were held within the Munich Security Conference. The talks were attended by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinian.
