Ulrike Lunacek known for lack of political principles
The campaign of a group of persons, wearing shirts bearing pictures of some prisoners in Azerbaijan at the opening of the European Parliament’s session on Monday, had been organized by a person who is known for lack of political principles, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament`s Committee on Law Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli told.

Ali Huseynli noted that Lunacek’s mission is clear ahead of time; the fact that she is inspired by Armenians is no secret to anyone.

“The persons whose pictures they used on shirts had been charged under certain articles here [in Azerbaijan], the articles that have to do with security and interests of the people and the state, and their interests. If Lunacek and those siding with her truly prioritize democratic principles, then why do Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security not concern them? Is it because the Armenian lobby that they cooperate with does not allow them to do that? Human rights, freedom of speech, and democratic principles in Azerbaijan have developed well enough, and someone like Lunacek looking for a fault is unnecessary and an ill intention.

Taking advantage of the fact that the world’s attention riveted on Azerbaijan that is going to host the first-ever European Games, these persons’ being more active against Azerbaijan under the guise of human rights with the support of the Armenian lobby is completely contrary to legal principles and disrespect to European values. Because this event will be written directly into the history of Europe. Despite all this, Azerbaijan will host the European Games at a high level, and these people, when the time comes, will answer for their actions,” he said.
