 Conference concerning coronavirus threat held in Azerbaijan

A broad conference was held in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 4, Operative Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told reporters.

A broad conference was held in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 4, Operative Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told reporters.

The meeting led by Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev was attended by Chairman of State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli, heads and employees of relevant structures of Health Ministry and State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance.

It has been noted in the conference that measures against epidemic threats should be continued with joint attempts by taking into consideration recommendations of the World Health Conference.

The effective organization of the treatment process, as well as, the progress in the field of further improve the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures have been discussed at the meeting held regarding combating the coronavirus. It has been stressed that there are enough test reserves in the country, and the opportunity of bringing them to the country in case of need has been discussed.

The checking of citizens coming from foreign countries and the list of symptoms that can be the reason for being involved in the examination have been determined at the meeting.
