On March 15, Azerbaijan's Embassy in France addressed to its citizens residing in this country.
The Embassy stated that the COVID-19 is spreading rapidly across the world, especially Europe, therefore the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a pandemic. "We urge our compatriots to closely follow the awareness messages and recommendations provided by the WHO, the Azerbaijani and French authorities to effectively protect against the COVID-19 and minimize the risk of infection".
From now on, all trips within non-European countries and the EU and the Schengen zone will be suspended for 30 days.
Meanwhile, confirmed cases of coronavirus reached 6,633 in France, claiming 148 lives.
