  Azerbaijan: Nine arrested for violating quarantine rules

Nine people were arrested in Azerbaijan for violating the rules of the special quarantine regime declared across the country due to the novel coronavirus, the Interior Ministry told AzVision.a.z

As a result of the measures taken by the interior bodies on April 3-4, the violation of the quarantine rules by 11 facilies, including 3 ones in Baku, has been revealed. The owners of the facilities were fined.

Over the past 24 hours, as many as 5,062 people (3,718 in Baku) were fined for attempting to cross the special police posts, as well as for violating the quarantine rules were fined under the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The Interior Ministry once again urged citizens to comply with the rules of the special quarantine regime declared by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
