Azerbaijan discloses number of people on quarantine

More than 3,000 citizens are currently on quarantine in Azerbaijan over the coronavirus threat, said Chairman of Azerbaijan's Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), Member of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers Ramin Bayramli.

Bayramli made the remarks Wednesday during a press conference at the Operational Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers, AzVision.az reports.

He noted that about 4,000 people were quarantined last week.

“Those who are on quarantine must abide by the existing rules. Among those infected, there are those who failed to comply with the rules,” Bayramli added.
