 Turkish President express gratitude to Azerbaijani President for Extraordinary Summit of Turkic Council

The railway used for freight transportation between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia can be extended to Central Asia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at an extraordinary summit of the Turkish Council through videoconferencing, Azvision.az reports.

"It is planned to increase daily cargo transportation by 3,500 tons via the existing railway line", he said.

Erdogan stressed the need to simplify the process of transporting goods through this transport corridor and make certain concessions. He also suggested holding a video conference with the Turkish Council of Ministers of Trade and Transport.

Moreover, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his initiative to hold the Extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council.
