"20 per cent of those tested positive for coronavirus infection in Azerbaijan are people coming from Russia", Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev made the remark in Baku at a briefing of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers on April 16, AzVision.az reports.
Hajiyev said that the gathering of Azerbaijani citizens at the Samur border checkpoint on Azerbaijan-Russia border hindered the work of relevant government agencies.
"As a result of the special quarantine regime, the imported cases of coronavirus has decreased and the resources for detecting domestic infections have increased."
