The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told AzVision.az that 10,000 more people are involved in paid public jobs in the country through the Center for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST).
The newly created public jobs mainly cover disinfection measures, the provision of social services to vulnerable groups, etc, said the ministry.
The creation of new paid public jobs serves to increase employment at a time when the country is combating the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
