48,000 tickets sold for closing ceremony of European Games
48,000 tickets have been sold for the closing ceremony of the first-ever European Games in Baku, Simon Clegg, the Baku 2015 chief operating officer, said at a press conference on June 16.

“30,000 spectators watched the competitions held on June 15 as part of the first European Games. The average capacity of audience was 84 percent. Yesterday alone 13,500 tickets were sold for the closing ceremony. 37,500 tickets were sold in the last three days. In total we have sold over 48,000 tickets for the closing ceremony. Today, competitions will be held in 11 sports,” he noted.
