'In many countries around the world, the quarantine regime is in the process of easing. As a result, the number of infections has increased. The increase was expected,' head of the Country Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci told reporters.
"Now the main task is to strengthen public health services. We must not leave the house unless it is necessary;social distance should be maintained;we must take sanitary and hygienic measures. WHO continues to work with many partners to accelerate vaccination work. Solidarity in national and global healthcare is a key factor for eradication of virus. Together we can defeat the virus," Harmanci also added.
