The festival provides an opportunity for young directors not only to learn the secrets of world cinema and film production, but also to participate in the formation of the Central European auteur cinema.
Partnering with notable film industry companies, film educators, directors, producers, and writers, competition provides a forum for talented filmmakers to be recognized for their work, creativity, and achievements.
The festival`s opening film will be Daria Onyshenko`s drama Eastalgia, a Serbian-German-Ukrainian co-production.
The Feature Film Competition will include eight films, the Short Film Competition will feature seven participants and the Documentary Film Competition will feature six contributions.
“The Native Hearth” is a co-production between Azerbaijan (“Cinema house”) and Russia (“DS Films”). The production of the movie was funded by the Azeri Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Russia` Ministry of Culture.
