Hasanov will try to capture the bronze medal against Kiril Terziev from Bulgaria.

The Azerbaijani athletes won two medal sets in the men’s Greco-Roman wrestling at the Baku 2015: Rasul Chunayev (71 kg) and Elvin Mursaliyev (75 kg) won gold medals, Rafig Huseynov (80 kg) and Sabahi Shariati (130 kg) won silver medals, while Elman Mukhtarov (59 kg) and Hasan Aliyev (66 kg) grabbed bronze medals.

The Azerbaijani women wrestlers won two gold medals and one bronze medal in the women’s wrestling at the Games: Mariya Stadnyk (48 kg) and Anzhela Dorogan (53 kg) grabbed gold medals, while Natalia Sinishin (55 kg) won a bronze medal.

The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28.

There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
