Number of foreigners residing in Azerbaijan disclosed

Number of foreigners residing in Azerbaijan disclosed

As many as 134,298 foreign nationals are currently residing in Azerbaijan, Vusal Huseynov, Head of the State Migration Service said during an online press conference on Wednesday, AzVision.az reports.

He noted that 551,872 foreigners arrived in Azerbaijan in 2020.

“This figure is a 44%-decrease compared to the previous year. The coronavirus pandemic seriously affected the number of foreigners coming to Azerbaijan,” Huseynov added.
