Ukrainian President Introduces Decree to Fire Security Service Head
According to Ukrainian parliament website, Ukrainian President introduced a decree Thursday to dismiss Ukrainian Security Service head Valentin Nalivaychenko.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko introduced a decree Thursday to dismiss Ukrainian Security Service head Valentin Nalivaychenko, the Ukrainian parliament website said.

Nalivaychenko was questioned by the country`s prosecutors after he accused Deputy Attorney General Anatoly Danylenko of covering an oil depot fire near Kiev. The Ukrainian media branded the situation a confrontation between the country`s general prosecutor`s office and the security services.

The fire that first broke out on June 8 at the BRSM-Nafta oil depot about 19 miles from Kiev had been blazing over a week despite the Ukrainian State Emergency Service`s constant attempts to put it out.

Several causes of the fire, including a technical failure during work with petroleum products, are being considered by the investigation team.
