Chief of Armenian General Staff resigns

Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan has submitted a resignation letter, AzVision.az reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

Davtyan, who was appointed Chief of the Armenian General Staff in 2018, reportedly resigned for organizing his son’s wedding ceremony during the state of emergency declared in the country due to the coronavirus outbreak.
