Drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

Drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

The State Border Service (SBS) prevented smuggling of a large amount of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan, SBS’s press service told.

4, 475 grams of opium and 1, 900 grams of hashish were seized from 33-year old resident of Iran’s Parsabad city who was detained while violating the state border in Beylegan district.

Investigation is underway on the fact.
