Defense Minister visits Armenia

Defense Minister visits Armenia

We are convinced Armenia won`t allow using Russian military base to Georgia`s detriment, Minister says.

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania expressed the confidence today that the Armenian side won`t allow using the Russian military base in Armenia to detriment of the Georgian interests.

The Georgian Minister said this during a press conference after his meeting with the Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan in Yerevan, Mediamax reports.

Irakli Alasania noted that Russian military bases in the South Ossetia and Abkhazia pose a threat to Georgia.
